Since 2015, I've been helping women with fatigue, hormone, thyroid & gut issues reclaim their sense of self and get on top of menopausal symptoms.

I specialise in Premature Ovarian Insufficiency(POI), Early Menopause,

Michelle has genuinely CHANGED my life!

I started working with Michelle because I was frustrated that nobody could help me with my symptoms that were “not important enough”. I was struggling with iron deficiency, PMS symptoms, PCOS and digestive issues.

 

We completed a GI-MAP, a HTMA analysis and DUTCH hormone test which showed me that my body was starting to break down… while I was considering myself “healthy” since I was eating well and exercising at least 4x a week. All these tests showed some underlying gut, mineral and hormone issues.

 

Michelle was very thorough in explaining the results and gave me a targeted protocol to follow and a lot of precious tips to implement in my routine. After a few weeks only, my symptoms started improving! I never felt so well, I am now full of energy and radiant, I am not bloated anymore (which honestly… can really affect your mood), my PMS symptoms are gone, I have a normal period with no pain and I know now how to really take care of my body.

 

My nails were the reflection of: “something is not going well in my body”. The first picture is when I contacted Michelle, the second is my nails only 2 weeks after the protocol. I remember being  pretty amazed by the results and really happy. The last picture is of my nails now. They grow really fast and are really strong!

I would highly recommend this course with Michelle. When I signed up to the course I was struggling with my diagnosis of POI and the effect it was having on me mentally and physically.  I had a hysterectomy following the diagnosis of Endometrial cancer and wanted to ensure that I was doing all I can to support my body.

 

The functional testing has been a huge help and quite a revelation about what I can learn about my body and help get my body and health back on track. I feel more empowered and can see the way forward.

 

What has improved?

My life! I sleep better, I eat healthier, I have more energy, feel less bloated, my skin and hair feel much better - and did feel too bad before we started!

 

I liked that the programme modules came at just the right time.

I came to Michelle completely burnout.   I suspected I was going through early menopause and was also struggling with stress, brain-fog, fatigue, depression, crippling anxiety.  I had also just completed treatment for breast cancer. It was a scary and confusing time but I was eager to bring my body back to balance.

Initially Michelle and I worked together on nutrition.   As someone who has always enjoyed cooking I thought I was fairly knowledgeable around food and diet.  However, after completing various food, medical, lifestyle and stress questionnaires, Michelle opened my eyes and educated me to the fact that I wasn’t always consuming the right food at the right time to best support my body.  She made recommendations and suggested alternatives to some of my food habits.  In particular, we identified that my body was lacking in proteins, resulting in an addiction to sugar, particularly sugary drinks. Living for years with huge variations in my blood sugar levels resulted in mood swings and fatigue at certain points of the day.  Since I have worked with Michelle I feel more balanced and I rarely get “Hangry” like I used to..!

Following Michelle’s expertise and guidance I undertook a GI test.  Michelle was clear and supportive at explaining my GI test results.  She then made recommendations of beneficial supplements to take, which included her facilitating a gut cleanse to bring my body back to balance.  After cancer treatment, I was taking a cocktail of random supplements, hoping that it would help support my body and immune system. However, following Michelle’s guidance and suggestions of suitable supplements resulted in a stronger immune system; increased energy levels; better mood; more stable weight; improved condition of my hair, skin and nails and a boost in compliments from others!

Michelle helped me get my hormones in balance. Chemotherapy, radiation and hormone therapy had resulted in what I thought was early menopause at 39, although I wasn’t certain. What I did know was that I was a hormonal mess; I accepted crippling anxiety, mood swings and unpredictable menstrual cycles as “normal”.  Furthermore, the breast cancer I had was hormone receptive which was a further indication that my hormones were out of balance.  Michelle suggested I had my hormone levels tested using the DUTCH test. I cannot recommend this test enough - Michelle’s explanation of my results and her recommendations were priceless! Having this knowledge and understanding of my hormone levels meant I was able, and felt empowered, to make well-informed decisions going forward.   Michelle’s open-minded approach also meant I felt able to make decisions that were right for me and my body. She also went ‘above and beyond’ to provide me with support, advocacy and encouragement while I found my voice and navigated health professionals during this time.

Michelle also used various techniques, including breathwork, to help me recognise and release emotional trauma from my body.  This ensured that my body and mind were in an optimum place for healing. She also used her vast knowledge and expertise to recommend helpful books, films and meditations, many of which have been paramount in my healing journey.

I came to Michelle feeling unwell, with what I thought were perimenopausal issues.  I was not getting any answers from my GP.

Sleep, digestion, energy levels, general sense of wellness, although I think there is still a way to go. I feel like a normal person again.

I started working with Michelle because I had Hormone Imbalance, Fatigue, Insomnia, Weight Gain, Anxiety & generally not well.

 

The lab testing was very helpful. An insight into what is going on for me and what needs to be done to address the underlying causes of my body being out of whack.  Michelle was completely spot on in her direction. 

 

I now have more energy, less cravings, better cognitive function, so much less anxious, an ability to deal with stressful circumstances so much better.

I am in peri menopause and have low thyroid issues.  I found the functional lab testing invaluable. Working with Michelle enabled me to understand my Gp blood tests more clearly.  Secondly, the testing gave me a way to understand all the niggly symptoms I had. I’m less tired, my hair isn’t falling out, less dry skin, less irritation with my mood. I still have some ground to cover, but what I also really appreciate is having a plan & a way to approach things. It helps one feel more in control.

I had felt very low and lethargic for a few months in perimenopause. I had brain fog and my hair was thinning. So I went to Doctors and had blood tests. My diagnosis was under active thyroid. I was told I would have to take prescriptive medicine for life. I was not happy with this, so I decided to seek alternative treatment.  
I informed my GP that this was my plan and he said he would be very surprised if I could get my thyroid functioning normally again.
Michelle did a thorough investigation and found that I lacked many different minerals and had high levels of metals. 
Michelle suggested her treatment and so I began that course. 
My brain fog began to ease and I felt invigorated again.
When I returned to the GP for another blood test, my thyroid was functioning normally.  My TSH went from 15 to 2.6 after working with Michelle
